New wings restaurant coming to Myrtle Beach, SC. Here’s when and where
Wings Co. is opening a new Myrtle Beach location next month at the Publix-anchored shopping center at 82nd Parkway and Kings Highway.
Owner Ahmed Abdelhalim said he hopes to open the restaurant mid-January. The Myrtle Beach-based chain serves 14 styles of wings, chicken fingers and funnel cake. The best-selling wing varieties include sweet chili, lemon pepper and honey barbecue, according to Abdelhalim.
A Wings Co. sign emblazons the under-construction suite between Honest Greens and MassageLuXe in the in the Village Shops at Grande Dunes. The address will be 7937 N. Kings Highway, Unit 210.
The new restaurant joins four Wings Co. locations, including at the Coastal Grande Mall and Coventry Marketplace, near Market Common. The latter opened earlier this year and is also in the same shopping center as a Publix grocery store.
Abdelhalim said he hopes to expand Wings Co. throughout the Myrtle Beach area and into Charleston, in addition to franchising the concept.
“It’s a lot to do, but it’s enjoyable and we like what we do,” Abdelhalim said.
