Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar announces a new location opening soon, sues bowling alley

A popular, over the top milkshake bar announced it would have a new location opening soon after its departure from the bowling alley location in Myrtle Beach.

Owners of the Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar, Bo and Sherri Steele, announced they would move away from the Market Common location in December, citing “drama and negativity” with being affiliated with 810 Billiards and Bowling.

They will be located at 2461 Coastal Grand Strand Circle and will be ready in early March, according to a Facebook post.

Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar files lawsuit

South Carolina public records show a lawsuit filed on Jan. 31 by Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar against 810 Market Common and is demanding a jury trial.

Eight different causes of action are listed, including negligent misrepresentation, breach of contract, and conspiracy. The lawsuit also asks for a restraining order, or an injunction.

The suit alleges that 810 Market Common misrepresented the Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar, relied on false advertisement and engaged in conspiracy when it “contacted Plaintiffs’ vendors, ordered equipment, and took other actions in furtherance of their conspiracy, to deprive Plaintiffs the right to possess property,” the suit states.

The lawsuit does not give additional details about what happened between the two businesses.

Attorney Douglas M. Zayicek, with Bellamy Law Firm, representing The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar, did not respond immediately Wednesday to a request for comment made by the Sun News. Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar also did not respond.

Michael Sinsicalchi, CEO of 810 Billiards and Bowling, did not respond immediately Wednesday to a request for comment made by the Sun News. When the milkshake bar announced its relocation in December, 810 Bowling sent out the following statement to the Sun News:

“While we were surprised to receive notice of termination of their lease this past summer, we understand their desire to grow and relocate to a larger site of their choosing where they can have more control over all facets of their operation. We are pleased to have been able to provide the opportunity for Bo and Sherri to build their business, they have worked tirelessly and created something truly special with The Crazy Mason. We wish them great success at their new flagship location that is under development, and look forward to continuing our partnership with them at our 810 North Myrtle Beach location. “
