The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar in Myrtle Beach is relocating. Here’s where and when
A popular milkshake bar in Myrtle Beach announced Wednesday that it would be leaving the Market Common location, citing “drama and negativity.”
The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar, currently located at 1220 Moser Dr inside 810 Billiards & Bowling, will relocate five miles away to 2461 Coastal Grand Circle.
The company would no longer be “affiliated with 810 Billiards & Bowling,” by the time the new location opens in March 2023, a press release said. It’s unclear for the exact reason the milkshake bar is relocating, but owner Sherri Steele stated she was excited for the change in a social media post.
“I realize…being in that bowling alley didn’t make us, we did that. On our own. We don’t need them, we don’t need their drama and negativity dragging us down,” Steele wrote.
Steele did not respond to a request for comment by the Sun News.
“While we were surprised to receive notice of termination of their lease this past summer, we understand their desire to grow and relocate to a larger site of their choosing where they can have more control over all facets of their operation,” Michael Siniscalchi, an owner at 810 Billiards & Bowling, said. “We are pleased to have been able to provide the opportunity for Bo and Sherri to build their business, they have worked tirelessly and created something truly special with The Crazy Mason.”
The Market Common milkshake bar was opened in June 2020 by husband and wife duo Bo and Sherri Steele. Since then, the Crazy Mason has opened several South Carolina locations, including North Myrtle Beach, Mount Pleasant, and Greenville.
