A man has died after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash Monday, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.

Kody Roach, 37, died at the scene of the crash in Loris, Deputy Coroner Patty Bellamy said.

The school bus was traveling on Cedar Branch road before entering S.C. 9 when it collided with a Chevy truck after 6 a.m., according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Lieutenant Sonny Collins.

“This collision is still under investigation, and no determination of fault has been established,” Collins added.

Roach, of Nichols, was diving that truck.

None of the passengers on the bus were hurt, including the seven students on board, Trooper Brian Lee said.

South Carolina Department of Public Safety is investigating.
