A popular 42 year establishment in Myrtle Beach is now for sale for $6.2 million.

Angelo’s Steak and Pasta, a popular steak and Italian buffet restaurant, has been listed online since mid May for $6,250,000.

King One Properties International, a real estate agency based in Horry County, listed the 14,600 square foot property on its website.

“I just turned 69 years old,” owner Angelo Antonucci said. “I’d like to have a retirement like most people do when they’re in their sixties.”

Antonucci said that future plans could include someone buying the restaurant or leasing it.

“Being open and successful for more than 30 years, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” the listing read.

Angelo’s Steak and Pasta opened in 1980. Antonucci was named “restaurateur of the year” by the South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association in 2016.

Angelo’s, located off S Kings Highway, is known for its two buffets, full list of appetizers, a full bar and an early bird menu.

Angelo also stated that sales for the restaurant this year have been good so far.
