Conway woman dead following single-vehicle wreck in Horry County, officials say

A 36-year-old Conway woman died in a single-vehicle crash that happened Sunday evening, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.

Charlotte Lucenda Pinos Villegas Saucillo died from injuries sustained on scene of a wreck that took place on Adrian Highway, the coroner’s office stated.

The crash happened at 6:25 p.m. near S.C. Highway 19, according to Lance Cpl. Nick Pye with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Saucillo was driving a 2019 Dodge sedan north on Adrian Highway when she went off the left side of the road and hit a ditch and then a tree, Pye said.

The SCHP is investigatiing the crash.
