Fatal crash on Conway highway involved one vehicle into a tree, SC patrol says
A fatal crash was reported Sunday evening in Conway after a 2019 Dodge sedan veered off the road, into a ditch and then into a tree, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Horry County Fire Rescue was called to the scene at 6:23 p.m. on Adrian Highway near Highway 19 with a report of entrapment, the agency wrote in Facebook post.
The driver who died was wearing a seat belt, Trooper Nick Pye said, noting that SCHP are still investigating the crash.
Information about the identity of the driver will be released by the Horry County Coroner’s Office once next of kin is notified.
