The Horry County Coroner’s Office has identified a co-owner of a well-known Murrells Inlet bar as the victim of this weekend’s fatal motorcycle crash.

Stephen Pease, 34, died after his motorcycle spilled in the roadway headed south on U.S.-17 Business near South Jensen Drive in Garden City, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Pease was co-owner of Suck Bang Blow. He was first hired as a bar-back 11 years ago and worked his way up to co-owner, said Suck Bang Blow events coordinator Bill Barber.

The bar is a focal point Harley-Davidson bike week, which brings thousands of bikers to the Myrtle Beach area.

Pease was married with two daughters, Barber said.

The Horry County Coroner’s Office publicly announced Pease’s identification Wednesday morning, though friends have been mourning his loss on Facebook for days.
