A man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Garden City over the weekend, according to authorities.

The crash happened Saturday about 8:40 p.m., said Lance Cpl. Nick Pye with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Pye said the driver of a 1989 Harley Davidson motorcycle heading south on on U.S.-17 Business spilled into the roadway near South Jensen Drive. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, he said.

The driver of the motorcycle died from his injuries.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the motorcycle wreck.
