Woman found dead near the Intracoastal Waterway in Little River identified
A 22-year-old from the Columbia area was found dead in Little River on Tuesday.
The Horry County Coroner’s Office identified the woman found near the Intracoastal Waterway as Teniesha King. The cause of death has not been released. Horry County police went to the waterway near Little River Drive around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a body found.
Both the coroner’s office and Horry County police continue to investigate.
Little River Drive is near the Vereen Memorial Gardens and the North Carolina-South Carolina state line.
