Will the sunshine stick around? Your Myrtle Beach weekly forecast

Rain could linger for a couple of days after a sunny start to the week in Myrtle Beach, forecasters say.

The National Weather Service is calling for a sunny day Monday, with a high of 67. Chances of showers are likely after 11 a.m. Tuesday and possible through Wednesday night, the NWS reports.

By Thursday, the sun is expected to return and the rest of the week is expected to be partly sunny.

Temperatures throughout the week are forecast to be around 70, with lows in the upper 60s. Here are highs and lows, according to the NWS:

  • Monday: High 67, low 56
  • Tuesday: High 70, low 57
  • Wednesday: High 69, low 57
  • Thursday: High 68, low 57
  • Friday: High 72, low 58
