How you can win a year’s worth of free tea through Conway McAlister’s grand opening

Coastal Carolina University students are about to get a new sandwich place to eat.

McAlister’s Deli is expected to open a new location near Coastal Carolina University next month on Highway 544. The location will open on Feb. 3 at 10:30 a.m, according to its Facebook page.

As a promotion, the first 100 customers in the door will get a year’s worth of free tea from the location.

The McAlister’s restaurant is one of two slated to come to Conway. The city’s chamber of commerce announced last spring that a corner of the intersection of U.S. 501 and Mill Pond Road near Conway High School will be developed into “Celebration Square of Conway,” which has plans for a McAlister’s and signature steakhouse.

The City of Conway has not provided any updates as to the development of that shopping center.
