Here’s where you can see the Oscar nominated Best Picture films before the Academy Awards

Looking forward to watching the Academy Awards next month but haven’t seen all the films nominated for Best Picture?

With thousands of movies released throughout the year, it’s easy to miss the selected bunch that receive the prestigious Best Picture nomination at the Academy Awards. This year, Cinemark movie theater at Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach is making life easier for movie lovers by hosting an Oscar Movie Week festival from Feb. 3 to Feb. 9.

The festival will feature seven of the nine nominated films — 1917, Ford v Ferrari, Jojo Rabbit, Joker, Little Women, Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood and Parasite — along with 10 Oscar-nominated short films prior to the Academy Awards telecast on Feb. 9.

The remaining films nominated for Best Picture — The Irishman and Marriage Story — are streaming on Netflix.

Festival passes are currently on sale for $35 and can be purchased online or at the theater’s box office. Attendees will receive a badge upon purchase that can be used to gain admission to a chosen showing, reserve seats ahead of showtime and receive 50 percent off any size popcorn.

Moviegoers who don’t want festival tickets but still want to see one of the featured films are encouraged to buy tickets soon.

Feb. 7

  • Oscar Shorts: 2 p.m.
  • Little Women: 3:45 p.m.
