Allegiant Airlines adds three new direct flights to Myrtle Beach, Grand Strand

Three more cities are going to have direct flights to the Grand Strand during the summer months.

Allegiant Airlines will now offer flights to Myrtle Beach International Airport from Providence, R.I.; Knoxville, Tenn.; and Elmira, N.Y.

Flights will run twice a week starting in June.

“Allegiant is a great partner and we appreciate their continued commitment to the airport and the entire Grand Strand,” MYR Director Scott Van Moppes said in a release.

The trip could cost about $100 a ticket depending on the weekend and airport. Booking information can be found on Allegiant’s website.
