SCDOT: SC 22 opens in Horry Co. after being closed for a week due to flooding
The South Carolina Department of Transportation announced that S.C. 22 will reopen at 2 p.m. Thursday.
The westbound side will only have one lane open temporarily in the area between S.C. 905 and S.C. 90 due to a high water spot, according to a Facebook post from SCDOT.
S.C. 22 was closed for a week after being overtaken by floodwaters in Hurricane Florence’s aftermath.
