A fresh seafood restaurant in coastal South Carolina is closing. Here’s what we know
A waterfront dining spot will shut their doors permanently.
Snooky’s on the Water announced on social media that Sunday, Feb. 16, will be their last day.
The Little River, SC restaurant has served customers since 2017. The reason for the restaurant’s permanent closure is unclear.
“Thank you all for your support throughout the years,” the post said. “Stop by and see us before Sunday. This isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later.”
The restaurant is located right off of Highway 17, overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway in Little River.
Snooky’s sister restaurants, Hurricane Juel’s and Snooky’s Ocean Front, will remain open. They will also offer dishes from the Snooky’s on the Water menu, the post said.
Menu items include Firecracker Shrimp, a salmon BLT, lobster salad and seafood towers.
Hurricane Juel’s is located directly north on the Intracoastal Waterway, almost at the North Carolina state line, and Snooky’s Ocean Front is right off the Atlantic Ocean in North Myrtle Beach.
