A new restaurant that offers Latin-inspired chicken dishes is opening in Surfside Beach.

Chico’s Chickens, located next to the Cheesesteak Factory along U.S. 17 North, blends different flavors, such as Colombian and Peruvian, for its rotisserie chicken. The chicken is cooked in a charcoal rotisserie oven and specializes in quarter, half and whole chickens with Latin-inspired sides.

It is unclear when the restaurant is expected to open, but the location is advertising its hiring.

A message left for the owners was not returned.

In addition to roasted chicken, the restaurant also makes fresh tortillas and house-made sides and salsas, according to its Facebook page.

It appears from the restaurant’s social media that the owners sold the food items from pop-up locations in the Myrtle Beach area before securing a brick-and-mortar spot.
