The Grand Strand’s (and South Carolina’s) second BurgerFi location is opening its doors June 24 at 11 a.m.
The burger joint is opening up in what was formerly an Atlanta Bread Company, which had sat vacant for years before BurgerFi moved in.
The first BurgerFi location is in North Myrtle Beach, off U.S. 17 near Robert Edge Parkway.
The address for the second location is 106 Sayebrook Parkway, Myrtle Beach.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. They stay open an hour later on Fridays and Saturdays.
“When you walk in a [BurgerFi], it’s a happening place,” said Tom Stewart last year, who is general manager of the first location.
BurgerFi aims to evoke the feel of the hamburger stands of the 1950s and 1960s, and is known for its all natural Angus burger, hand-cut fries and frozen custards. The average burger costs about $6 or $7. BurgerFi also has a veggie burger, as well as burger toppings that include premium options such as grilled mushrooms and a fried egg.
BurgerFi started in Florida in 2010 and has more than 60 locations across the country. Visit BurgerFi online at www.burgerfi.com.
