Here’s where to watch FIFA World Cup games in the Myrtle Beach area

The world’s biggest soccer event is making waves across the Grand Strand, with local fans eager to cheer on their favorite teams in the FIFA World Cup.

The United States, alongside Canada and Mexico, is hosting the World Cup for the first time in more than 30 years. While no games will be played in South Carolina, restaurants and bars across the Grand Strand are hosting watch parties for the games.

Whether you’re hoping to watch the games in a loud, energetic atmosphere or simply have it on in the background while enjoying dinner, there is a spot for you to root for your team on the Grand Strand.

South Coast Beer Project in Carolina Forest shows the games on its large outdoors digital screen, with outdoor seating on the lawn to relax and watch as you enjoy a freshly brewed beer. The brewery offers ten different brews from fruity wheat beers to brown ales, as well as wings, Detroit-style pizza and small plates.

Soccer fans can stop by Ole Smoky Distillery and Yee-Haw Brewing Co., a recent addition to Broadway at the Beach, to catch the games on large indoor television screens. The distillery serves draft beers, Tanteo tequila, buffalo wings, pizza and more to enjoy while watching the World Cup.

You can watch every World Cup game at Fiesta Mexicana , where the restaurant has been decorated with soccer balls hanging from the ceiling, the flags of competing teams and jerseys. Located at 410 70th Avenue North, Fiesta Mexicana even has soccer ball decanters for its tequila.

Twin Peaks, a restaurant and sports bar at Myrtle Beach Mall, is showing World Cup games every day. With televisions throughout the dining space and surrounding the bar, you can grab some classic American fare while enjoying the games.

If you’re looking to catch the World Cup while also enjoying a beachfront view, RipTydz at 1210 N. Ocean Boulevard will air all of the games. While watching the evening games, you can also enjoy one of the restaurant and bar’s live music acts or DJs.

Cantina Imperfecto will play all of the World Cup games on televisions inside the modern Mexican restaurant at 950 Cipriana Drive, Unit B8. Cantina Imperfecto has televisions behind the bar and in the dining space.

The Grand Strand’s British pub, the Old Bull and Bush Pub and Eatery, will air the World Cup games on a large projector screen. Enjoy British staples like Scotch eggs and fish and chips in this energetic atmosphere at 4700 U.S. Highway 17 Bypass.

Brother’s Grill will give fans a 10% discount if they wear their team’s jersey to watch the World Cup at the restaurant. Located at 5900 North Kings Highway, Unit 6, the restaurant serves a fusion of Mediterranean and American cuisine.

The City of Conway is playing select World Cup games on its new 16-foot screen at The Terrace downtown, near Laurel Street and Second Avenue. Soccer fans can bring a chair and enjoy the game outdoors in the summer weather through the City’s “Soccer Under the Sky” series.

Down in Murrells Inlet, Gator Zone Sports Bar & Grille at 3453 U.S. Highway 17 Business will air the biggest World Cup matches on its 31 televisions. The sports bar is offering themed drink specials to celebrate the games, including a “Red, White & Goal” Espolòn drink with grenadine, lemon juice and blue curaçao.

Regardless of who you are rooting for, there are plenty of spots across the Grand Strand to catch all the World Cup action.
