A new restaurant serving Chinese food has opened in the Myrtle Beach area.

Chopsticks serves Szechuan, Hunan and Cantonese food that customers can also order on the eatery’s website.

The new restaurant is located at 1399 South Commons Drive next to the Lowes Foods. Chopsticks is open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The eatery is also open Fridays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 9:30 p.m. Chopsticks is closed on Mondays.

Interested customers can also order food via DoorDash and Uber Eats, according to a Facebook post of Chopsticks menu.

The new eatery comes as Myrtle Beach residents are craving something new to eat. The Sun News recently surveyed residents, and Myrtle Beach shared that they wanted more healthy and diverse food options to choose from across the Grand Strand, particularly Asian cuisine.

Along with Chopsticks, several restaurants serving food from different Asian cultures have opened in the Myrtle Beach area.
