Waterfront seafood restaurant opens in Little River. Menu boasts dishes with lobster, crab
A new seafood restaurant has opened along the waterfront in Little River.
Blue Drum, 4436 Kingsport Road, had its soft opening April 5, according to a Facebook post.
A post said the restaurant’s current hours are 3 to 9 p.m. daily with extended hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. coming soon.
The restaurant is located along the Intracoastal Waterway and features a raw bar, appetizers, specialty soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees and desserts, according to the post.
The menu lists such dishes as Lobster Mac, which features mac and cheese with lobster meat; Grouper Oscar, which has grilled or blackened grouper topped with jumbo lump crab meat; and a Surf ‘n’ Turf Burger that is an Angus burger smothered with lobster, cheese and caramelized onions.
In addition, the restaurant offers up its 100-foot dock to people “first come first serve,” it says.
