May will again bring golfers and PGA Tour pros to the Myrtle Beach area.

The second annual Myrtle Beach Classic begins May 8 and concludes the 11th. With thousands expected to attend, Tournament Director Darren Nelson predicted that 50,000 will participate at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club for the 2025 installment during a February 2025 interview.

With the tournament in its second year, here’s what you need to know before it starts.

Are tickets for the Myrtle Beach Classic still for sale? Will there be parking?

Tickets are still available for people interested in attending the Myrtle Beach Classic. The tournament offers passes for a single day of golf. The least expensive ticket is $30 for Wednesday, and the most expensive is $65 for a Saturday pass.

The basic week pass is $220. Children 15 or younger accompanying a ticket holder get in for free. The tournament also has luxury seating located at the 17th Tee, inside-the-ropes tickets and access to the clubhouse for varying prices.

Getting to the tournament is another matter. According to the Myrtle Beach Classic website, parking passes are $15 per day, bought beforehand and sold separately from tournament tickets. The website states that passes come in a digital format — printouts or screenshots won’t be accepted.

People driving to the tournament can park at Lot B, 2400 N Oak St. at the former Myrtle Square Mall site, and a shuttle service will take spectators to the Dunes Golf and Beach Club. There will be no parking at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club itself.

What celebrities will appear at the Myrtle Beach Classic? Here’s what we know

The second Myrtle Beach Classic will feature more celebrities than in 2024. Florida Georgia Line member Tyler Hubbard will take the stage at the tournament for a concert May 8, 2025., but he isn’t the only famous name set to appear during the festivities.

Ferren Rajput, the CEO of the tournament’s co-sponsor ONEflight, told the media during a March 3, 2025, press conference that Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell and Anthony Anderson will appear at the tournament in some capacity.

Rajput said bringing big names to the tournament is part of an effort to grow the Myrtle Beach Classic’s profile.

“(We’re) trying to make this something a little bit bigger than golf,” Rajput said. “Hopefully, that word spreads, and the following year, it gets bigger and better.”

Another familiar face to the Grand returns for the Myrtle Beach Classic’s second year, as Wheel of Fortune Co-Host Vanna White will also be at the 2025 iteration.

Will top PGA golf pros be at the tournament?

The 132-player field isn’t announced yet for The Classic, but the tournament announced 2024’s lineup less than a week before it started.

Despite this, many of the PGA’s top pros won’t participate in the Myrtle Beach Classic.

The Myrtle Beach Classic is a duel-field tournament, meaning it will take place at the same time as the Truist Championship in Philadelphia, Pa. Many of the PGA’s top professionals will opt to participate in the Truist Championship, as they were not eligible for the 2024 tournament.

Compared to the Myrtle Beach Classic’s $4 million purse, the Truist Championship is a PGA Tour Signature Event, with a $20 million purse for golfers teeing off.

PGA pros won’t be the only players golfing in the tournament. The Q golf tournament is a celebrity and influencer golf tournament that took place in March 2025 at TPC Myrtle Beach. The Q airs on YouTube May 5, 2025.

The winner will appear in the Myrtle Beach Classic. Influencers like Fat Perez, George Bryan and renowned long-drive specialist Kyle Berkshire will try to punch their ticket to The Classic.

Professional golfer Matt Atkins won the inaugural contest in 2024 and beat Bryan, although Bryant received a spot in the tournament anyway.
