Kurt Russell, Kevin Costner and Anthony Anderson slated for Myrtle Beach Classic
The 2025 Myrtle Beach Classic just got a star-studded influx, according to the co-title sponsor of the tournament.
ONEflight CEO Ferren Rajput said Anthony Anderson, Kevin Costner, and Kurt Russell will attend the tournament during the Myrtle Beach Classic’s March 3, 2025 media day. Rajput said he wants to bring more celebrities, but no one else has yet confirmed.
Rajput added that his objective is to have 18 celebrity groups during the pro-am and said that Anderson, Costner, Russell and other celebrities will appear at the scheduled pro-am for Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
Given that ONEflight is in the private jet and travel business, Rajput added that a black helicopter may bring the celebrity players into the tournament.
“(We’re) trying to make this something a little bit bigger than golf,” Rajput said during the Myrtle Beach Classic Media Day. “Hopefully, that word spreads, and the following year, it gets bigger and better.”
They aren’t the only celebrities confirmed for the tournament. Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard will perform at a concert at the Myrtle Beach Classic. Tournament Director Darren Nelson announced Hubbard and Soul music group Chairmen Of The Board’s performances during Myrtle Beach Classic’s March 3, 2025, media day.
The concert will occur near the 17th and 18th holes at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.
“It’s a nice natural amphitheater,” Nelson said in a February 2025 interview. “We’ll put the stage at the bottom of the hill. That way, fans can have a nice view of the stage and all three nights of the concerts.”
Grand Strand native and Wheel of Fortune Co-Host Vanna White will also attend the tournament for the second consecutive year.
The Myrtle Beach Classic occurs May 8-11, 2025.
