The sounds of the Myrtle Beach Beer Festival
The seventh Annual Myrtle Beach Beer Festival will feature two different acoustic duos on May 9 at TicketReturn.Com field at Pelicans Ballpark, home of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
The first tasting session is from 2-5 p.m. with entertainment from the Lion’s Pride Duo.
A scaled back version of the full rock band, Lion’s Pride, the duo features Charles Freeman and Shaun Brown on acoustic guitars and vocals. Expect to hear a diverse set ranging from The Beatles to the Red Hot Chili Peppers with maybe even a Flight of the Conchords song thrown in for fun.
Session No. 2 runs from 6-9 p.m. and features music by the Sean Mills Duo.
Based out of Florence, Sean Mills is most known for his work in Machine Funk, a regional jam band that has built a regional following as a Widespread Panic tribute band. Saturday’s acoustic duo will deliver a crowd-pleasing mix of Zepplin-era classic rock and beer-drinking jam bands such as The Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers Band and others.
