The Grande Dunes area is getting a new self described high-end Mexican Restaurant.

Cantina Imperfecto is set to open at 950 Cipriana Drive at the former location of the fine-dining eatery Abundance in the same shopping center as the US Foods Chef Store.

Cantina Imperfecto will serve staples of Mexican cuisine such as margaritas, quesadillas, and other items with a high-end flair and modern aesthetic to the dining area.

The location is undergoing renovations, with construction taking place next to the building. Despite not being open, the eatery has taken to Instagram to showcase what the final restaurant will look like, and according to the restaurant’s website, Cantina Imperfecto is hiring.

Those interested in learning about Cantina Imperfecto’s grand opening can sign up on their website. High-end and luxury ventures are becoming more popular in the Grand Strand region as of late.

Recently, several new high-end restaurants have opened in the Myrtle Beach and Carolina Forest area and new luxury apartments and shopping centers are currently in development.

Part of this trend has also been an increase in the number of Myrtle Beach residents and businesses who’ve moved from the Northeast for the warm weather of the Grand Strand.
