Conway man killed in North Lake shooting. Police are investigating.

A Conway man was shot and killed at a home in the North Lake subdivision off of Harris Shortcut Drive Friday night.

Patrick Shawn Smith, 52, died as a result of a gunshot wound at the home, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden.

The case has been ruled a homicide, McSpadden said.

The Horry County Police Department is investigating the shooting.
