Family displaced after house fire in Myrtle Beach
A family is displaced after a fire did damage to their Myrtle Beach home on Sunday.
Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue responded to a house fire at 1313 Hemingway Street shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday, according to Lt. Jonathan Evans with MBFR. Flames were showing upon arrival, but authorities got the fire under control rather quickly, according to MBFR Battalion Chief Mike Lewis.
Three family members live in the house but were not home at the time of the fire. The family will be displaced, but is being set up with the American Red Cross. No injuries were reported.
Family members declined to comment at this time.
