The Western-based Mexican fast food restaurant, Taco John’s, is opening 100 new restaurants in the South including at least one location planned for the Myrtle Beach area, the company announced Monday.
Locations will also include Wilmington, Charleston, Greenville, Spartanburg, Augusta, Columbia and Savannah.
“We can’t wait to introduce these markets to the iconic, quality food of Taco John’s. We have aggressive development plans for the next 24 to 36 months,” said Caleb McMillen, chief operating officer for American Development Partners, which is partnering with Taco John’s in the expansion.
The company did not give any indication where the new Grand Strand restaurant will be located, or a time frame for opening.
Taco John’s operates and franchises almost 400 restaurants in 23 states.
