Body found at Bucksport Marina following search identified by coroner
A Hemingway man whose body was found in Bucksport Marina after going missing Saturday afternoon has been identified, according to a release from Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden.
The man, identified as 40-year-old Tushawn Polite, fell into the water and was missing for several hours before his body was recovered by Horry County police, according to a Facebook post by the police department Saturday evening. The case has been ruled an accidental drowning, according to the coroner.
