Man taken to hospital following reported drowning incident

A man was taken to the hospital from Myrtle Beach Resort following a reported drowning incident, according to Battalion Chief John Fowler with Horry County Fire Rescue.

Fowler said he wasn’t sure about the circumstances that led to the incident that was reported just after noon Tuesday at the resort at 5905 Kings Highway in the Myrtle Beach area.

An update on the man’s condition was not available.
