In the wake of Hurricane Matthew and all the closings the storm brought, a familiar name is opening and intends to bring back some plaid to Myrtle Beach. The Tilted Kilt was originally located in Broadway at the Beach and closed at the end of September in 2014. The restaurant with its popular kilt girls returns just over two years later in its new location on Oct. 19.

Apart from the servers, The Tilted Kilt is known for their array of Scottish, Irish, and American pub grub. Popular choices include Scotch eggs, delicious hardboiled eggs wrapped in breaded sausage, and Irish stew, slow-cooked in a Guinness stock. Burgers, nachos, wings, and plenty more are also part of the family. Of course, there is also plenty of beer to enjoy.

The Tilted Kilt’s new location is now across the street from Broadway, settled in between Mellow Mushroom and the La Quinta hotel on 21st Avenue. After celebrating their Grand Opening on the 19th, the restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight, and even later on Fridays and Saturdays.
