July 18 | The Shallotte Lions Club will hold its 24th annual golf tournament at the Jones course at Sea Trail Plantation in Sunset Beach on July 18. Shotgun start set for 8:30 a.m. for this captain’s choice event (two flights), everyone is welcome. Entry fee is $70 per player and includes green and cart fees, a buffet luncheon and over $1400 in prizes given away.
