Myrtle Beach Mutiny forward and Coastal Carolina alumnus Tobenna Uzo has been voted the Premier Development League Player of the Week after scoring four goals and adding an assist in Week 9 of league play.

Uzo, who is ranked 44th on the third edition of the 2017 PDL Top Prospects List, netted the deciding goal in a 1-0 win on June 27 against the Charlotte Eagles, who are contending along with the Mutiny for the South Atlantic Division title.

Uzo then scored a hat trick and recorded an assist in a 6-2 road win against the Wilmington Hammerheads FC on July 1.

The PDL features 72 teams across the U.S. and Canada.
