Connor Shaw sounds support for struggling Gamecocks
South Carolina’s all-time winningest quarterback weighed in Monday on the Gamecocks’ struggling season.
Connor Shaw, in his second year with the Cleveland Browns, is not playing this season because of a preseason thumb injury that required surgery.
Shaw, through Twitter, delivered the following message in wake of the social media firestorm that has followed USC’s 3-8 season and grew bigger with Saturday’s loss to The Citadel:
Forever To Thee. Some of y'all need to understand what that means or forever stop claiming to be loyal.
— Connor Shaw (@cmshaw9) November 23, 2015Young teams grow up. Struggling teams will improve & if you're in that locker room not 100% in, now is the time to find a different uniform.
— Connor Shaw (@cmshaw9) November 23, 2015With that said, the players & coaches who fight their heart out every Saturday does not go unnoticed or unappreciated! #FOREVERTOTHEE
