Here’s the deleted Earl Thomas video that may have contributed to release from Ravens

Safety Earl Thomas’ tenure with the Baltimore Ravens came to an unceremonious end on Sunday, just days after a training-camp practice dust-up.

On Friday, Thomas blitzed but the Ravens offense completed a pass in an area Thomas had vacated.

Ravens teammate Chuck Clark, incensed by Thomas’ mistake, ripped off his own helmet and threw it to the ground. The two argued on the sideline and Thomas allegedly punched Clark. After practice, the Ravens sent Thomas home.

A day later, Thomas shared video of the play that led to the scuffle on Instagram.

“Being sent home sucks,” Thomas wrote, per CBS Sports. “I can’t take the reps I need to keep momentum going, but I can reflect on things and keep working my plan to help the team win. This has been one of my best camps (and a) crazy situation like this can (throw) dirt on it. Here is the clip that started the fight ...

“A mental error on my part. A busted coverage that I tried to explain calmly met with built-up aggression turned into me getting into (it) with a teammate. Since we didn’t keep it in house and I’m getting texts and calls from ESPN reporters etc, thought I’d try and clear the air. Situations like this narrow my window for error but this (is) the path I choose.”

Thomas deleted that post, but here is that video:

On Sunday, the Ravens terminated Thomas’ contract.
