Deshaun Watson earns praise at Pro Bowl from an unlikely source
Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett has been known to speak his mind.
On Saturday at the Pro Bowl he was caught on camera praising a young player who didn’t make it through his first NFL season because of an injury: Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Despite the fact the former Clemson star has played in only seven NFL games after suffering a season-ending ACL injury, Bennett had seen enough.
“I ain’t gonna lie, what’s his name is one of the most athletic quarterbacks I’ve ever seen, though,” Bennett told a group of other Pro Bowl players in a video tweeted out by NFL on ESPN.

After one questioned, “[Andrew] Luck?” Bennett replied emphatically “No. Luck ain’t got nothing on Watson.”
Bennett continued, “Watson can be running with the ball on the ground like this and then get up and throw that bad thing about 90 yards.”
The other players echoed, “That boy athletic now.”
