Could rap mogul P. Diddy become the next Carolina Panthers owner?
This. Is. The remix.
Well, at least it could be.
In light of Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson’s Sunday night announcement of his plans to sell the franchise following the conclusion of the season, a rap mogul threw his name into the fray.
Sean Combs – known most famously as P. Diddy or Puff Daddy – tweeted that he’d be interested in purchasing the Panthers soon after Richardson’s announcement.
“I would like to buy the @Panthers. Spread the word. Retweet!,” his twitter account, @Diddy, posted a little before 9 p.m. Sunday night.

The rapper – and entrepreneur – didn’t stop there.
There are no majority African American NFL owners. Let’s make history.

“There are no majority African American NFL owners. Let’s make history,” he posted.
Whether he was being serious or being playful, it would be quite the remix for the Carolinas’ football team.
