Coastal Carolina alumnus Matt Hazel was once again released by the Indianapolis Colts.

However, 24 hours later he landed back with the team – this time with the practice squad.

Hazel was waived Monday and cleared Tuesday, when the Colts signed him to the practice squad.

Hazel has competed in two games, recording one catch for one yard – his only career NFL reception.

Hazel was drafted in the sixth round by the Miami Dolphins in 2014. He played his first two seasons there but saw action in only five games before being waived at the start of the 2016 season. He joined the Buffalo Bills practice squad but was released and joined the Redskins practice squad, and did not make the cut this season to the Redskins’ 53-man roster.

Hazel, who is 6-1 and 195 pounds, holds the CCU record for career receptions with 183.
