Josh Norman talking again, but in a different tone than we’re used to

Josh Norman is often in the news because of comments critical of his opponents.

Not this time.

Instead, the Redskins cornerback and Coastal Carolina alumnus could only find praise for Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, who helped Philadelphia to a 30-17 win over Washington on Sunday.

“He made plays. You saw it. He made plays,” Norman told nj.com. “He came back off of one interception he threw and he came out there, it didn’t seem like it phased him. He made plays. He eluded our guys when we got to him and got their hands on him. He extended the drives.”

Norman – an outspoken player who in the past has had highly publicized feuds with the likes of Dez Bryant and Odell Beckham Jr. – made two solo tackles, assisted on another and deflected three passes Sunday.

Despite the loss, he believes his team will be better when it faces Philadelphia later this season.

“We just have to to be better at it the next time we play those guys up there,” Norman was quoted by nj.com. “And we will.”
