The Myrtle Beach Pelicans are now able to reach an even bigger audience.

On Sunday, the team’s 2-1 win over Carolina appeared on WWMB CW21 as part of a partnership with the Pelicans in the first of five planned broadcasts. The remaining Sunday home games on Myrtle Beach’s schedule will be picked up by the station.

“For us, the exciting thing is not only the presence it gives us but doing it on Sundays allows us to catch people when they first come into town and possibly spark some interest with them and maybe get them out to the ballpark. It’s great exposure,” Pelicans general manager and president Andy Milovich said. “And it’s a really good fit. We’re excited to be a part of this.”

The list of remaining game broadcasts are as follows:

  • Sunday, July 3 at 6 p.m. vs. Potomac Nationals
  • Sunday, July 24 at 6 p.m. vs. Wilmington Blue Rocks
  • Sunday, August 7 at 6 p.m. vs. Carolina Mudcats
  • Sunday, August 21 at 6 p.m. vs. Lynchburg Hillcats
