He said it
To me, the play of the game was the two-run home run by Balaguert. He made two really, really big plays on those balls hit over the first base bag to knock them down and that saved us two run. So he knocked in two and saved two; both those balls are doubles or triples if he doesn’t get them. Huge game from him.Leal did a good job until the seventh in giving up a couple of runs, but he did what he needed to do. He had a lead, kept the lead and [reliever Ryan] McNeil and Farris did a good job as well.We had a quite of few hits; I’d have liked to get a few more runs but it didn’t happen. Pitching and defense was really the story of the game, and Balaguert with that two-run homer really was big.
