The Myrtle Beach Pelicans and Charleston RiverDogs have agreed to play a Highway 17 Showdown series, a pair of exhibition games that will allow the squads to battle for state supremacy.

The first game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. April 6 at Charleston’s Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park. The second game will be played TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark in 2017.
