Jemeir Candelario homered for the second straight day and Jacob Rogers and Daniel Lockhart also went deep as the Myrtle Beach Pelicans defeated the Potomac Nationals 7-2 on Sunday.

With the game tied at 2, Lockhart homered to lead off the three-run fourth inning. Candelario blasted a two-run shot late in the frame to put the Pelicans ahead 5-2.

It proved to be plenty for starter Tyler Skulina (2-3), who allowed two runs on four hits while striking out three in six innings.

Potomac’s Nick Pivetta (3-4) was touched for six runs on 10 hits in 4 1/3 innings and took the loss.
