Myrtle Beach Pelicans sweep doubleheader against Winston-Salem Dash

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans swept a doubleheader with the Winston-Salem Dash on Saturday night, winning the first game 4-1 and the second 8-4

In the opener, Duane Underwood allowed one run on two hits while striking out four in six innings, and four Pelicans drove in one run each.

Shawon Dustin Jr. had two hits, including a triple, and Billy McKinney, Jeimer Candelario, Jacob Rogers and Victor Caratini each drove in one.

In the nightcap, Ben Carhart homered and drove in three, Rogers drove in two and Paul Blackburn got the win on the mound after allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits while striking out four in five innings.
