The game: No one is going to accuse Latta of playing an easy non-region schedule. With games against Class AA No. 1 Dillon and Class A No. 1 McBee, playing the Blue Jackets in between will equate to the more winnable option. That means the Blue Jackets will need to minimize any mistakes that potentially allow Latta to stay within striking distance. In this case, that means Aynor must avoid the penalty-ridden ball it played against Green Sea Floyds a week ago. After all, since the Blue Jackets haven’t had a turnover in their first two games, those flags – which added up to triple figures against the Trojans – are the only thing hampering this offense so far.
