Aynor (6-3, 2-2 Region 6-3A) at Loris (3-6, 1-3)

Time: 7:30 p.m., Friday

Series record: Loris leads 45-11-2

What’s at stake?: An Aynor win puts it in the Class 3A playoffs, while a Loris victory creates a three-way tie for third with Aynor and Lake City. Defensive points will determine third place, with head-to-head competition deciding the final playoff spot. If the Lions are victorious, it is possible both of these teams will qualify for postseason play.

Of note: Aynor’s Noah Seaver has rushed for 1,229 yards and 20 touchdowns this season. … The Blue Jackets have scored 40 points or more on four occasions this season. … Andrew Wilson leads Loris with 94 tackles – 30 of them in the opposing backfield. Zach Jordan has racked up 82 tackles of his own.

Carolina Forest (5-4, 2-2 Region 6-5A) at Conway (8-1, 4-0)

Time: 7:30 p.m., Friday

What’s at stake?: Conway has already earned a share of the Region 6-5A title and the league’s top seed in the Class 5A playoffs. Carolina Forest needs a win and a West Florence loss to South Florence to claim the region’s No. 3 seed.

Of note: Conway’s linebacker duo of Jaylen Moody and Noah Freshley has combined for 171 tackles, 7 1/2 sacks and three interceptions – two of which have gone for touchdowns – this season. … Conway is averaging 201 rushing yards per game. … Carolina Forest quarterback Matt Beale has thrown for 1,260 yards and nine touchdowns. … Jackson Weatherwax caught four passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers’ loss a week ago.

Green Sea Floyds (4-5, 1-3 Region 6-A) at Hannah-Pamplico (5-4, 2-2)

Time: 7:30 p.m., Friday

Series record: Hannah-Pamplico leads 16-9

What’s at stake?: A Hannah-Pamplico win clinches it third place in Region 6-A, while a victory by Green Sea Floyds and a likely win by East Clarendon over Creek Bridge creates a three-way tie for third. Third place will then be determined by defensive points allowed, with the final spot determined by the head-to-head result between the remaining two teams.

Of note: Hannah-Pamplico got back on the horse last week following losses to Hemingway and Lake View, two of the top three teams in Class A. Meanwhile, Green Sea Floyds comes in on a three-game losing streak. … Zack Dixon scored the lone touchdown last week for the Trojans.

Sumter (7-2, 3-1 Region 6-5A) at Socastee (5-4, 1-3)

Time: 7:30 p.m., Friday

Radio: WSEA-FM 100.3

Series record: Sumter has won all four previous meetings

What’s at stake?: For Sumter, this game is more about pride and fine tuning for the playoffs. As for Socastee, the contest is everything as the Braves need to pad their resume for an at-large bid in the Class 5A playoffs.

Of note: Sumter will be playing without starting quarterback Zykiem Jackson, who was injured in last week’s loss to Conway. He was responsible for nearly 1,800 yards of total offense. … Sumter averages nearly 250 rushing yards per game. … Socastee quarterback Hunter Illing has thrown for 1,970 yards and 22 touchdowns this season. He also has five rushing touchdowns.

Andrews (7-2, 4-1 Region 7-2A) at Kingstree (2-6, 2-3): Andrews has already locked up the No. 2 spot in Region 7-2A. Expect running back R.J. Knowlin to make a statement after being snubbed for the Touchstone Energy Cooperatives North-South Bowl.

Carvers Bay (8-1, 5-0 Region 7-2A) at Latta (6-3, 3-2): Carvers Bay has already sewn up the Region 7-2A title. Still, the Bears have one more monkey to get off their backs, seeking to snap a three-game losing streak to Latta.

St. James (2-7, 0-3 Region 7-4A) at North Myrtle Beach (9-0, 3-0) | Radio — WRNN-FM 99.5: North Myrtle Beach is going after school history, seeking its first undefeated regular season and an outright region crown. The Chiefs won’t be denied.

Waccamaw (0-9, 0-4 Region 6-3A) at Georgetown (5-4, 3-1) | Radio — WGTN-AM 1400: Georgetown lost out on a chance at a Region 6-3A title, but can close out its season with a flourish against rival Waccamaw.
