Helmet stickers: Myrtle Beach quarterback, Georgetown peaking at right time
Team of the Week – Georgetown: Following an 0-3 start, the Bulldogs have rattled off four straight wins. Taking on Lake City in a pivotal Region 6-3A matchup, quarterback Bret Kirtley threw for a pair touchdowns and Ishmael Taylor rushed for two more as Georgetown rolled to a 33-6 win. By virtue of its victory, the Bulldogs and perennial powerhouse Dillon remain the lone undefeated teams in Region 6-3A.
Player of the Week – Lawson Cribb, Myrtle Beach: The Seahawks’ senior quarterback received 50 percent of the vote this week after completing 14 of his 22 passes for 224 yards and three touchdowns as the Seahawks shellacked St. James, 73-0. For the season, he has completed 56 percent of his passes for 1,492 yards and 10 touchdowns.

James Alston, Waccamaw: Returned a punt 70 yards for a touchdown, in addition to catching another in Warriors’ 57-33 loss to Aynor.
Dalton Altman, Andrews: Had 10 tackles for the Yellow Jackets in the their 35-14 win over Johnsonville.
Peter Brady, Carolina Forest: Was in on 10 tackles and earned a sack in the Panthers’ 20-10 win over South Florence.
Marquez Carter, Aynor: Was in on nine tackles as the Blue Jackets beat Waccamaw, 57-33.
Daron Finkley, Myrtle Beach: Caught five passes for 115 yards and two scores in the Seahawks’ 73-0 win over St. James.
Tyree Funnye, Waccamaw: Caught seven passes for 225 yards and three touchdowns in the Warriors’ 57-33 loss to Aynor.
D’Wuan Grainger, Conway: Accounted for 277 total yards and four touchdowns as the Tigers took care of rival Socastee, 50-28.
Jermani Green, Myrtle Beach: Rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns as Myrtle Beach cruised to a 73-0 win over St. James.
Chunk Grissett, Myrtle Beach: Caught seven passes for 127 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks’ 73-0 win over St. James.
Tonka Hemingway, Conway: Had seven tackles and two sacks in the Tigers’ 50-28 win over Socastee.
Joel Hickman, Conway: Posted six tackles and a sack in the Tigers’ 50-28 win over Socastee.
Hunter Illing, Socastee: Despite constant harassment by the Conway defense, he completed 16 of 30 passes for 347 yards and two touchdowns, along with another score on the ground in a 50-28 loss on Friday night.
Jahrique Isaiah, Loris: Caught two passes for 115 yards and a touchdown in the Lions’ 39-20 loss to Dillon.
Zach Jordan, Loris: Had 12 total tackles for Lions in 39-20 loss to Dillon.
Toronto King, Carvers Bay: Rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns in the Bears’ 52-12 win over Mullins.
Hunter Lane, Waccamaw: Was in on 21 tackles in the Warriors’ 57-33 loss to Aynor.
David Merino-Lopez, Socastee: Was in on 10 tackles for the Braves in their 50-28 loss to Conway.
Juwan Moody, Conway: Caught four passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers in their 50-28 win over Socastee.
Sayvon Morris, Andrews: Was in on 12 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery in the Yellow Jackets’ 35-14 win over Johnsonville.
Michael Pipkin, Andrews: Rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns in the Yellow Jackets’ 35-14 win over Johnsonville.
Tyrek Reed, Carvers Bay: Accounted for 187 total yards and four touchdowns as the Bears routed Mullins, 52-12.
