Game balls: Vote for Week 7’s top high school football performances

Matt Beale, Carolina Forest: The Panther quarterback completed 7 of his 16 passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns, along with 165 more yards on the ground in a 56-27 win over Socastee.

Daiquawn Clark, Conway: Rushed for 137 yards on 15 carries and a touchdown in the Tigers’ 35-7 win over West Florence.

Tyler Gore, North Myrtle Beach: Had two interceptions and was in on six tackles as the Chiefs downed Myrtle Beach, 24-19.

Brett Kirtley, Georgetown: Threw for three touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 44-12 win over Aynor.

R.J. Knowlin, Andrews: Rushed for 215 yards and five touchdowns, along with seven tackles, a forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and an interception in the Yellow Jackets’ 51-19 win over Mullins.

 

Cason McClendon, North Myrtle Beach: Completed 12 of his 15 passes for 296 yards and three touchdowns in the Chiefs’ 24-19 win over Myrtle Beach.

Shedrick Pointer, Myrtle Beach: Was in on 10 tackles for the Seahawks in their 24-19 loss to North Myrtle Beach.

Quasim Porter, Carolina Forest: Rushed for 133 yards on 21 carries and three touchdowns in the Panthers 56-27 win over Socastee.

Devin Stamp, Socastee: Caught eight passes for 118 yards, three of which went for touchdowns in Braves loss to Carolina Forest.

Tyron Stockdale, North Myrtle Beach: Caught seven passes for 220 yards, three of which went for touchdowns in the Chiefs’ 24-19 win over Myrtle Beach.

Of note: Voting is open till noon on Wednesday for player of the week at myrtlebeachonline.com. The winner will be revealed Wednesday online and in Thursday’s edition of The Sun News.
