Game balls: Vote for Week 6’s top high school football performances
A look at the top performances Friday from high school football players in Horry and Georgetown counties:
Matt Beale, Carolina Forest: Completed 9 of his 15 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns, along with 111 yards on the ground and another touchdown in the Panthers’ 32-0 win over Loris.
Niseym Bellamy, Conway: Had two interceptions, one which went for an 103-yard touchdown in the Tigers’ 13-12 loss to Myrtle Beach.
Nick Carnucci, Socastee: Had 112 yards and two touchdowns, along with a 21-yard touchdown reception for the Braves in their 65-14 win over St. James.
Kered Class, North Myrtle Beach: Rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns as the Chiefs remained undefeated with a 63-28 win over Camden.
Jermani Green, Myrtle Beach: Had 141 yards of total offense and a touchdown for the Seahawks in their 13-12 win over Conway.
Chunk Grissett, Myrtle Beach: Caught six passes for 101 yards for the Seahawks in their 13-12 win over Conway.
Hunter Illing, Socastee: Completed 11 of his 16 passes for 271 yards and four touchdowns, along with another touchdown on the ground for Braves in 65-14 win over St. James.
Tyfiq James, Waccamaw: Rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns for the Warriors in a 41-35 overtime loss to Hannah-Pamplico.
R.J. Knowlin, Andrews: Rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns as the Yellow Jackets held on for a 35-28 win over Latta.
Brayden Nobles, Aynor: Had three catches for 87 yards and a touchdown in the Blue Jackets’ 49-12 win over Word of God (N.C.).
Noah Seaver, Aynor: Rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns in the Blue Jackets’ 49-12 win over Word of God (N.C.).
Devin Stamp, Socastee: Caught six passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns in Braves’ 65-14 win over St. James.
Of note: Voting is open till noon on Wednesday for player of the week at myrtlebeachonline.com. The winner will be revealed Wednesday online and in Thursday’s edition of The Sun News.
