Scouting report: Carolina Forest has won the past two meetings with West Florence,this after losing the previous seven games against the Knights. …Panthers quarterback Matt Beale has attempted only seven passes the past two games, completing three of them for 25 yards. It hasn’t mattered much, though, as Jaylen Johnson has emerged as the latest threat in the Carolina Forest backfield, rushing for a total of 234 yards. … West Florence’s Ryan Roberts has completed 62 percent of his passes 619 yards and seven touchdowns. Vick Johnson has been his primary target, the wide receiver catching 35 balls for 452 yards and three scores. … The Knights are giving up just less than 35 points per game.

Stumbling here could prove devastating to playoff hopes. … The Loris offense hasn’t flashed the trademark efficiency it has been known for in the past. Running backs Tevin Livingston and Tyreek Williams have proven to be its most dependable weapons. … Waccamaw running back Antrix Greene leads the area in rushing with 667 yards on 125 carries.
